CCS to Host Empty Bowls Night for Second Harvest

CCS to Host Empty Bowls Night to Support Second Harvest

Clinton City Schools invites you to our 1st Annual Empty Bowls Night on February 23.  This event will be held at all three elementary schools:

Clinton Elementary School- 5:00-7:00 p.m.

North Clinton Elementary School- 4:00-6:00 p.m.

South Clinton Elementary School- 5:00-7:00 p.m.

All students and teachers have hand-made a pottery bowl to donate towards this event.  Student bowls will be sold for $5.00 each, and teacher bowls will be sold via a silent auction.

Soup will be sold in the cafeteria for $1.00 per bowl.  All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.  Second Harvest donates about $12,000 each year to our weekend "backpack" program.  This is our way of using our time and talents to give back.

We hope to see you there!
